Mechanical Service Technician (Building Services)

ISS makes a vital contribution to a safe, sustainable and pleasant working environment. Within our technical department, we are responsible for maintaining building services. Our site in Bergen op Zoom is a large tobacco manufacturer. In this large factory, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks.

As a service technician, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance on installations and systems. You ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable standards. You report to the Technical Manager and work closely with your colleagues and the client.

As a service technicia, these are your main duties:

• You carry out first-line and minor maintenance work, as well as preventive maintenance, on the installations and systems.
• You carry out comprehensive quality checks, general inspections and safety inspections.
• You record the work carried out in the maintenance management system.
• You will advise the client on potential improvements or replacements for the installations and systems.
• You are willing to work outside regular working hours in the event of emergencies.

You are positive, work neatly and are always happy to help your colleagues and customers. As a service technician, you also have the following in your toolkit:

• You have completed a vocational qualification (MBO), preferably in installation engineering.
• You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one.
• You have perfect communication skills in English, Dutch is an advantage.
